NCJWA condemns the decision of the Israeli government to resile from its commitment regarding the establishment of an egalitarian prayer space at the Western Wall. This is a blow to Jewish pluralism within Israel and in the Diaspora.
NCJWA is committed to Jewish diversity and the different ways in which Jews express and practice their Judaism. NCJWA calls on the government of Israel to treat all Jews as equals with regard to their expressions of Judaism and their access to Jewish holy sites.
